Majority rules – Most voters in this poll don’t miss samantha_pia and a good amount of them is “Glad the B*** is gone…”.  Quite a few people actually don’t know her.

One thing everyone seems to agree on though is that she was one for arguing in almost every thread she posted in.

I agree with that but I’m not sure I miss her. Could either be because I’m not around DP as often as others or could be because I visit her blog and she’s on WTF now, so there’s really nothing to miss.

Looks like Sammie isn’t the only one who thinks Katy is a bitch. I guess Katy is no longer the princess of Yfcadmin’s heart.

He stumbled across(I sent him a link) a video on YouTube describing his feelings toward Katy and started a thread about it.

I thought I’d be nice enough to share it with everyone in case the thread got deleted(Katy was online).

With over 1k posts and almost 50 iTrader, this may come as a shock to some but hey, it happens.

iBold has scammed many users out of $250.

First, he claims to offer a proxy site which will make you a “guaranteed”
$125 per month.  Some people have received a site, but are not earning that
amount.  Others, like konidig, have NOT received a site at all!

Secondly, he claims to have internet problems.  This is a lie, because when
you check his profile, it says that he has been logged in recently.

Thirdly, people have contacted iBold by email and PM, and no
response.

Furthermore, the PM’s sent to him by zan23 have been marked as read, which indicates he has read the messages and have chosen to ignore them.

Let this be a lesson to not only look at post count and iTrader when doing
business online.

After seeing this thread, I did a little browsing.

Sammie blogged about Digital Point on her blog. If you want a laugh and insight on the situation, I suggest you read the post.

DP is definitely digging their grave deeper and deeper.

They need to stop banning members that actually do what they should be doing, like finding scammers and duplicate accounts.

Looks like samantha pia is just like me though; she doesn’t care whether or not she’s unbanned and she won’t be returning to DP…ever.:)

She’s posted a bunch of pictures throughout DigitalPoint and changed them after she got banned. They’re pretty hilarious.

The responses to the Digitalpoint for Dummies thread makes that thread priceless(the picture was posted after the responses were made).

Just in case she decides to change the picture or DP actually uses their brain and just delete the image link(no shit, Sherlock!), I’ll put it here.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I hope DP fails.

bbrian017 brought something up that I think a lot of people had on their mind.

He asked if users were able to put the link to their website when giving reputation to others.

One of the moderators, GuyFromChicago, said it was okay.

The only people who see reputations are administrators and the users giving and getting the reputation.

The only other way for other people to know what someone sent in a rep is if the person giving or getting it told them.

It’s not really a good idea anyway. People are pretty lazy and links in reputation messages are not clickable.

At least you don’t have to worry about infractions though, right? That’s a first…

Took them a while to do this but with a couple of words it looks like the Freebies section, along with the rest of the Marketplace, has been sorted out.

All it took was a dozen words and a sticky to make people listen.

Hopefully this will end all of the “We should put the Stumble and Digg threads somewhere else.” threads.

The General Chat section is for what it sounds like, General Chat. All the off topic banter that doesn’t quite fit anywhere else.

The Underground is basically for the same thing but it’s only for registered users. Meaning only registered users can see that section, excluding guests and bots such as the GoogleBot.

I see this question asked quite a bit and I’m kind of surprised that people haven’t caught on yet. All you have to do is read the descriptions of the forums and it’s pretty clear.

This is by far one of the best threads created on DigitalPoint.

It drew the attention of more than 30 users at a time and generated 9 pages(so far).

Unfortunately for brandnewx,  Shawn has no interest in selling it yet.

That’s too bad. A new owner probably would have done the site some good.
