Make Money Online from Digital Point Forums

This is my first attempt in trying to update my blog offline. Let me try whether i become successful or not. And for those of you who might be thinkning what software i am using – then here is my answer – I am using BlogDesk.

And, let me describe here some of the features of this great software. It lets us to integrate with a lot of blogging platforms that are available on the net like WordPress, Movabletype etc – well the list is not complete here- i think it supports everything – So , i tell this is the best offline blog publishing software.

Well, there are a lot of other features as well like :-

1- Select categories – and choose to which the the entry to be posted.

2- It autmomatically displays all the categories so far used in our blog so that we can easily post to the preferred category.

3- Spell checking.

4- Feature to select the desired font.

5- Option to insert HTML.

Well, thats all for now. Since i have just downloaded this software and this is my first post using BlogDesk -so this is what i can say for now. I will inform more about the performance of this software in the coming days.

Hello,

Here is an interview with one of the former DP member whos account got hacked long time back (about a year ago).

1- What was your username DP ?

ANS : Actually it’s realsandossu, because my old one, sandossu, has been hacked. I tried to recover it but Shawn did nothing but tell me to wait.

2- Are you not able to access DP ? If so , why ?

ANS: Nowadays I rarely visit the forum, but I tried right now because you remembered me about it and no, I’m not able to access it. It simply doesn’t load.

3 – Now you are not able to login right ? What you think about it ? Do you think that your account got hacked ?

ANS: Yes, my account got hacked, the moderators figured it out and banned it. Unfortunately the hacker changed my password and email so I wasn’t able to do anything to recover it. I contacted the super moderators, they talked to Shawn, but he said I should wait…and after I waited more than a year, here I am, still banned.

4- So, while the account was with you it was in good condition right ? And after it got hacked – it got banned right ?

ANS: Yes, it was one of the most active accounts and it had like 200 iTrade points.
5- 200 Itraders – so you are really missing it. You should recover it anyway – what you say about it ?

ANS: I don’t think there’s any chance to recover it and DP is not my interest anymore, because it’s full of scammers and spammers now. It’s not like the old good times.

6- Do you suspect anyone ? Do you remember any instances like which could have compromised your account ?
ANS : Because the internet is my only source of income, I take good care with usernames and passwords, so that I don’t use the same password on every website and I don’t have keyloggers installed. Also I use some keywords nobody can guess. So I am pretty sure the hacker used a VB exploit.
7 – Oh, its really sad that your account got hacked – that also a good one – you were indeed a reputed member (since you were having 200 itraders) – Well, lets hope that your account will soon get recovered – Do you want to express anything to the moderators or other fellow members of DP who may be seeing this post ?
ANS : I would be glad to get my account back, even if I will not be as active as I used to be. Moderators should clean the forum, because it’s full of junk, spammers and scammers.

8- Do you have any blogs ? I mean any personal blogs or so ?

So, we were discussing about how to make money online? right? ….

Well, i don’t to write too much – am just listing out the important
things point by point so that you can grasp them easily :-

1- Why don’t you create an account at DP forum? which is one of the
most happening places over the internet. This way you will be able to
ask and clear your doubts as well as make your first Dollar hopefully.
How – that’s what am gonna tell you here …

—> I hope by this time you have created an account there at DP.

Now let me make things clear. DP, is a webmaster forum – where you willfind different sub forums with title related to google,yahoo,adsense,marketting,business,etc…. And among these,theBuy Sell Trade – or simply BST – is my best – off course its the bestsection of most of the people there – its becuase this is the place where money flows – yes, members get the opportunity to buy,sell, or even trade their services like SEO service, article writing etc … So, where to start right ? Umm, you won’t able to start any thread of yours in the BST section at first – i think there are restriction to new members over this – You have to wait for some 15 days or so (you may checkout their FAQ to get the correct values ), and you must have made at least 30 posts or so before you can start a thread in the BST section.

Hey, its not at all a problem – there is only restriction to start anew thread (at the beginning) but you can reply to others threads in whichever thread you like (even in the BST section). And during the first 15 days, you can learn what is happening at DP and also try to make friendship with the other members of DP. It will benefit you in may ways later. Yes, that’s my guarantee.

So, during the early days at DP, start the day by posting some doubts if you have any like – how to start and manage a good blog – in the BLOG section or any such questions that you have – am sure that as a newbie you will be having certain doubts – So, what to about it – there is just a single and the best option for you – Go, find the section or sub forum that is best suited to start a thread related to your doubt – then ask your doubt there – and you will see others trying to solve your queries – you would be thinking why others are trying to help you out- hey, hey, there is reason for everything – people will not waste their time simply for nothing – there will be something behind there every action – which you might not understand at the beginning – if you are so curious about unrstanding why ? – then comment in this post and i’ll help you out.

Ok, so where did we stop? yup asking your doubts and thus reaching to the minimum post count that will make you an eligible member to start your own thread at DP – rite ? Okey, but don’t panic- keep good manners at DP – and before doing anything just read their FAQs and sticky threads that you will find at various sub forums especially in the BST section – DP follows a very strcit action against people who try spamming and other actions – so, just have a look at those places that i have just mentioned – so that you don’t come in the list of those members whom DP, is gonna Ban. Well, banning is another topic – its a completely different topic – well, if you ask me whether its good or bad- then i will surely tell that its Good – there are a lot of reasons to support this very fact – well, we will be discussing about those things in details in the coming days …

This is the first part of our discussions related to “How to make money at DP ie from forums.digitalpoint.com ” .

Hearing this – you may feel that it’s impossible to make money from a single day at DP. Hey, but why not? Its even possible to make money spending just a few hours at DP. But how ? That’s we are gonna discuss here….

— > First of all, you need to bring out your skills that are in yourself.
By skills, I mean any skills like writing, editing pictures, designing pictures, playing with photoshop, programming, playing with Html etc…

… you would be thinking, how these skills could benefit you? Right ? And how these skills of yours can earn you some money at DP ?

—–> So, now you know that – before we begin learning how to make money online – We must find out some skills in ourself.

So, here for explaining things easily, let us suppose that you are a person who loves writing and loves to read books a lot.

Then, I tell you that you can make $ 20 or more per hour at DP just because of that. Yes by writing for others.

Well, you should be careful while applying for a job. It would be better to start with the following rates as a newbie article writer :-

–> Rates :-

——> $ 1 per 100 words.
——> Prefer money after work is completed.
——> Complete work within the specified time.
——> Try to provide samples of your writing.

At first you may not be having any i-traders at DP. I-traders makes you a reputed member at DP. Here people with high i-traders are regarded as reputed ones – just because they are having much experience trading with others – in a better way – this way if you are having good i-traders (at least 10) , then you will getting much respect from others. So, your first aim must be to get some good i-traders and feedback about your service (it can be anything like article writing , logo designing etc..) , and for that you must be ready to work for even low rates – after all it is just for some time – at least for until you are achieving good itraders – After that you can increase your rates for your services.

So, that’s the trick behind getting good i-traders, PLUS becoming a good reputed member at DP – creating a steady income for yourself at the same time.

               Things are really happening now at Digitalpointing.com Earlier the site was not having any page rank. Just now when i checked the Google PR of digitalpointing.com – i really got Shocked !!!  Hurray , an increase in Google PR – that also within the first week !!! That’s really cool , and a good prospect in the point of view of digitalpointing.com

Even if the site is now at PR1, i think there is huge potential to this site. Well, i started blogging with digitalpointing.com for fun. But now i am really thrilled to blog every time – well, i don’t like to get traffic the hard way – and i dont wanna spend any money for advertising and all. I believe truely in search engines. So far the site is good in the major SE’s like google, msn etc. Digitalpointing.com is displayed in the first page of search results – its one among the top 3 three – for the keywords like digital point, dp, dp blog, etc , and ya also for the keyword digitalpointing.com (hihi….) LOL …

Here’s an advice from my side – to all those who are looking to get their site into the major search engines like Google, MSN, etc, and who do not want to spend money for advertising :-

Things you should consider :-

1- Blog atleast once a day. It is reccommended that you provide about 4-5 fresh posts daily. It is good for getting fast and better results.

2- No need to search other websites for blogging in your site – just think a bit – you will get something to write about. It is aways better to write using your own imagination – its even better than reading sometihing from somewhere (solely for the purpose of blogging) then writing about it in the blog- actually this is copyrighting – i agree that the content will be different- Still i don’t prefer copying others content. Google loves those blogs that have fresh and unique content on a daily basis.

3- If you are having other websites/blog as well – then add a link from that webite/blog to your blog that you wanna index in google.

This is really an achievement for DigitalPointing.com. Well, while adding it was written in the website that -  it may take some time before the site gets added. But susprisingly it got added within 30 minutes. It was really a wonderful moment for me.

Well, so from now on, am looking to get good offers from BuyBlogReviews.com . It is really a cool site by which bloggers get paid through paypal every 15th or the first of each month  – and for getting paid we should be gettting offers – and for getting our offers accepted, below are the things that we should consider :-

1- First of all – do some SEO (search engine optimization ) to the site, and bring the site in google. This way even if you dont get any decent traffic – that is – even if you dont have good traffic at this moment – you will be getting it after your site is indexed at google.

2- Try to increase the PR – that is PageRank of your site. There are a lot of articles online regarding this subject (well, indeed this is not an easy task)

3- The next thing is – which is the most important aspect – BID a reasonable amount. I mean, advertisers will be providing whats the maximum amount they can provide for the review. So, what we should do is – if they are offering $ 50 for a review – then BID in the range $ 20 -$35 – its because others will also be bidding- And sometimes there is a chance that the advertiser – will go with the one that he can get for cheap.

                 Huh, why on earth should we use Godaddy for hosting our favourite website? Why to spend our useful time waiting for that control panel to load (that will take indeed hours for loading???) — > Why on earth ??

See, i have been using godaddy for many years. Yes, i agree that it is a really good Registrar – and ya, only regsitrar – and i made the worst mistake when i thought that a good registrar will be a good hosting provider if it provides hosting – yes godaddy provides hosting for sure – BUT – they are not the best- hey why to talk about best- they are not even better than the worst – Actually it is the worst that i found till now.

Drawbacks about Goaddy Hosting :-

1- Very slow control Panel

2- Everything is confusing.

3- Not so comfortable – everything is different at GoDaddy- so if you are moving from some other hosting provider -then you will erally mess up with it – hard time.

… Indeed, a Good Domain Registrar need not be a Good Hosting Provider

If you are one among those people who got banned from DP, then, here are some of the tips that you should folow :-

First of all think about the reason behind it -  i mean the reason for which you got banned :-

1- Did you do spamming in the forum ?

2- Did you tried to post about things that DP has already banned like about selling VCC’s etc ?

3- Did you sent mass pm advertising about any thing ?

Well, the list is not complete here , there are many things that you should know in order to avoid gettting banned.

For that what you should do is :-

1- Read the Sticky posts that you can see inside the forum.

2- Just think twice before you do anything at DP (its not a stupid forum – it is managed by intelligent people – they wont allow spamming -so post something that is gonna benefit others – or something about your service but done spam)…

Some people gets banned permanentlly depending upon the act they have performed. Some get banned for some months or even weeks.

So, be careful – do good – expect good

Freeware-Utilities.com is  a site that provides us with a lot of free utilities and softwares. A whole bunch of utilities, wordpress themes, web 2.0 objects etc can be found inside.

The site is a good looking one. I found inside a lot of cool wordpress themes , i am thinking of trying one of it soon.

MelodyShot.com is an MP3 Searching Site – and after searching you get the optionof embedding it in your site or downloading to your computer. Even there is an option to listen your favourite mp3s before downloading it.

What i feel special about this site is that – it allows us to download the mp3s and after searching for a particular song – i got the exact thing – But in other sites that are of this kind, they dont allow you to download the song – rather- they only allows us to listen it …. So, full marks given to MelodyShot.com on the basis of functionality.

ArticleAtoZ.com is an article Directory. This site is being reviewed here based on the request that i got at DP from a member. I think this website is under construction. Actually there are various categories inside the site , but after we get into the sub categories, there are no articles.

Hope, this site will be Live soon. And as far as the design is concerned , its a good one. And the site loads pretty fast with this cool layout and design. Still there are a lot of things to tackle.

Madzzkill.com is a MySpace layouts site. Besides that you can get Friendster codes, Friendster comments, MySpace codes, comments and many many things.

This is a well designed site. A neat and clean look is what i wanna mention about this site. In the site you will find a lot of categories to choose from like generators and inside that tons of generators , then myspace tweaks etc…

AcneDictionary.com as the name implies provides information about Acne. Well, the site is desinged well, actually you’ll love to spend some time around the site going through the articles and all – its because of the reason that this is a real good looking site.

And ya about the content, there are a lot of valuable info rearding treatment of acne, things related to acen , parent’s advice regarding acne and also about acne product review -so that we can know about a particular product before we buy it.
