Here is an interview with one of the former DP member whos account got hacked long time back (about a year ago).

1- What was your username DP ?

ANS : Actually it’s realsandossu, because my old one, sandossu, has been hacked. I tried to recover it but Shawn did nothing but tell me to wait.

2- Are you not able to access DP ? If so , why ?

ANS: Nowadays I rarely visit the forum, but I tried right now because you remembered me about it and no, I’m not able to access it. It simply doesn’t load.

3 – Now you are not able to login right ? What you think about it ? Do you think that your account got hacked ?

ANS: Yes, my account got hacked, the moderators figured it out and banned it. Unfortunately the hacker changed my password and email so I wasn’t able to do anything to recover it. I contacted the super moderators, they talked to Shawn, but he said I should wait…and after I waited more than a year, here I am, still banned.

4- So, while the account was with you it was in good condition right ? And after it got hacked – it got banned right ?

ANS: Yes, it was one of the most active accounts and it had like 200 iTrade points.
5- 200 Itraders – so you are really missing it. You should recover it anyway – what you say about it ?

ANS: I don’t think there’s any chance to recover it and DP is not my interest anymore, because it’s full of scammers and spammers now. It’s not like the old good times.

6- Do you suspect anyone ? Do you remember any instances like which could have compromised your account ?
ANS : Because the internet is my only source of income, I take good care with usernames and passwords, so that I don’t use the same password on every website and I don’t have keyloggers installed. Also I use some keywords nobody can guess. So I am pretty sure the hacker used a VB exploit.
7 – Oh, its really sad that your account got hacked – that also a good one – you were indeed a reputed member (since you were having 200 itraders) – Well, lets hope that your account will soon get recovered – Do you want to express anything to the moderators or other fellow members of DP who may be seeing this post ?
ANS : I would be glad to get my account back, even if I will not be as active as I used to be. Moderators should clean the forum, because it’s full of junk, spammers and scammers.

8- Do you have any blogs ? I mean any personal blogs or so ?

ANS : Yes, http://sandossu.com

If you are one among those people who got banned from DP, then, here are some of the tips that you should folow :-

First of all think about the reason behind it -  i mean the reason for which you got banned :-

1- Did you do spamming in the forum ?

2- Did you tried to post about things that DP has already banned like about selling VCC’s etc ?

3- Did you sent mass pm advertising about any thing ?

Well, the list is not complete here , there are many things that you should know in order to avoid gettting banned.

For that what you should do is :-

1- Read the Sticky posts that you can see inside the forum.

2- Just think twice before you do anything at DP (its not a stupid forum – it is managed by intelligent people – they wont allow spamming -so post something that is gonna benefit others – or something about your service but done spam)…

Some people gets banned permanentlly depending upon the act they have performed. Some get banned for some months or even weeks.

So, be careful – do good – expect good

Everytime I go to DP buy and sell section, whenever one wants to make a sale there will always be someone offering to review your product. Example see this thread. $50.00

I think those offering to want free reviews are not sincere. I wanted to say snub,selfish and many more $$#@ but I was once those types before so….

Avoid making those type of statements. The seller have the right to not give or give. You cannot force somebody to give a free product. Its up to the seller. The seller can even offer a price cut for first sale.

In the above thread I am very much on daniegb123 side. Finally a sensible DP member worthy of his name. Good job dude..

I was hovering around in the BST Section when I found out about this PR service from quite a few people.

Cheap SEO Services is offering one but seems like a lot thinks they got scammed. Like he said, they are not Google or God to manipulate PR that easy. As the PR results is out and the expected is not expected, some people is whining and moaning about their buy. There are a few more services like this here.

What I can say is that PR is so unexpectable. The recent PR update sent a lot of sites PR down and many surprising results. The moral of the story is that try and learn and build backlinks for yourself. In this case, even a rep beyond rep cannot help you.

What a shame.. Another reputable member tarnished his own image..

OMG..I was never a big fan of the big G but seems like another reason to add to my G dilemma. A lot of my other sites got PR1-PR4 but digitalpoint forums got a smacked on its head with a PR 0. Google seems to suck big time..:p

However my serps are not affected that big only down a place or two..And yeah seems like I got a big boost when I found out my DP account got released from BAN yesterday.

I was really surprised when I saw more and more banned members including many reputable members. Looks like the mods are working very hard and strictly.Example banned reputable members like Blogmaster  and Abhik. In Abhik case seems like a permanent ban to me.

IMHO, I wish that DP forum mods can be more leniant before banning person. Other big forums like Namepros has outstanding mods who contact their members personally and advice them on the rules before taking certain actions. I don’t think anyone would like to see the message

“Your banned from DP Forum . Date of banned: Never”

Emm.. it sounds nice but the fact is I’m soooo busyy this past 2 weeks thus the reason so little update. I have class starting from 8am to 6pm each day except Friday where I start from 9am.. I was lucky last Wednesday I overslept (exausted) to 10am but fortunately both classes were cancelled that day

Seems like there is a lot of things running on DP that you might be interested in like July Google PR update also a fellow loosing his PR7 here and lastly a bit info on Authority Sites.

Seems until now the hot thing currently on DPF is PageRank so I’ll add a few other stuffs. Here is another weird fellow who doesn’t want good SERPS and a bit bout click frauding.

Honestly I would say click frauding is a bit unpleasant but I woudn’t mind if there are a few clicks here on digitalpointing..lol.. Seems like as only webmasters are visiting here so they try to not click as best as possible.

Anyway thats for todays update. See you next on Dp blog.. emm.. that sounds a bit stupid IMHO..

p/s- seems like a lot of my friends is getting banned. Today almost 5 person with 3 of them want me to post how they think the mods are #@^# and like sxxx sxxx.. Can’t do it today though sorry.(see my previous post, I don’t want to be called an hypocryte) :p

I was really surprised when I saw that forums.digitalpoint.com is now a PR7. Have you noticed?

Anyway assuming my tool bar is functioning correctly, congratulations forums.digitalpoint.com because they are now on the same par with their boring page brother the mainpage www.digitalpoint.com

Before this if my memory serves me correctly it was only a PR6. I am still waiting for digitalpointing.com to achieve its purpose of PR8. hahah..joking. I am only targeting a PR5 but its not bad to target for the stars. Maybe the big G will hear my request.

What must I say, lol.. serp does make your head big. I was only playing around
with my keywords and I just found out I defeated a PR7 website, guess what website is that.

Digitalpointing.com is now currently ranked 2d in Yahoo search for a popular keyword behind forums.digitalpoint.com. 2nd Digitalpointing.com and no3 is the PR7 website.
