Its quite some time now since I have made my last post at DP. It’s an addictive webmaster forum. And I don’t like to stay away from it more than a day lol joking … I’m not that addicted though. But I like stay there and see what others are doing. Most of the times I simply stay quiet.

I have been a bit busy the last few days. Yup, I got some programming related projects. Still in it – got some free time – so thought I should inform you lucky guys who is reading this crap atm lol … Ahh, I write crap though not always …

This is becoming a normal practice especially for new users. They are either a non-rule’s reader or think its cool to revive the dead.lol.. Example thread revived is where I can buy cheap .com domain

Seeing the current rate, its most probably an average of around the mid x,xxx per week.

Sale bashing is becoming to common these days. Like in this post Sale if you think its not good then why are you offering to buy it!!

Emm.. it sounds nice but the fact is I’m soooo busyy this past 2 weeks thus the reason so little update. I have class starting from 8am to 6pm each day except Friday where I start from 9am.. I was lucky last Wednesday I overslept (exausted) to 10am but fortunately both classes were cancelled that day

Seems like there is a lot of things running on DP that you might be interested in like July Google PR update also a fellow loosing his PR7 here and lastly a bit info on Authority Sites.

Seems until now the hot thing currently on DPF is PageRank so I’ll add a few other stuffs. Here is another weird fellow who doesn’t want good SERPS and a bit bout click frauding.

Honestly I would say click frauding is a bit unpleasant but I woudn’t mind if there are a few clicks here on digitalpointing..lol.. Seems like as only webmasters are visiting here so they try to not click as best as possible.

Anyway thats for todays update. See you next on Dp blog.. emm.. that sounds a bit stupid IMHO..

p/s- seems like a lot of my friends is getting banned. Today almost 5 person with 3 of them want me to post how they think the mods are #@^# and like sxxx sxxx.. Can’t do it today though sorry.(see my previous post, I don’t want to be called an hypocryte) :p

Here is a few collection that I’ve managed to garner. I am becoming so busy with my first week in university that I can barely be online for more than 5 minutes. Hell.. this sucks more than being banned on DP!! Nice joke by matrixsoftwarez here on DP.Here.

Hi, for side news seems like some of my other blogs have got their PR’s so I am guessing that some update is probably on. Also I noticed some of my friends PR still not moving with only a few gaining PR2,3 and a few more reduced from PR6 to PR5 and PR5 to PR3.

Seems like good news for those with low PR like Digitalpointing.com,,yeah..What do you think?

Anyway back to main story, scammer alert on DP. A story of “torrentman is a scammer” by The Asad here.

Seems like the same type of “I push first you pay later” case. Pity people are still doing this sort of biz especially when the buyer is so not rep. Badluck! If it was getjimmy scamming then there could be at least the excuse “hey,the guys the most reputable person,if I can’t trust him then i can’t trust anybody” sort of excuse.lol.. The Asad has my condolence.

Lol.. I was running around some threads and this old thread was really funny. Here~Shame it was closed. And by the way NazStory was mentioning about his thread hotties is this one.Here.

How much website is in this world. You can discuss here. IMHO from alexa more than 50millions active website at least. This thread here is perhaps the longest post I’ve seen on DP. I just read about 1 line.Lol..

This is also another locked thread about carol2008 love towards Dp.Lol.. irony the Op was banned by her beloved forum.:p Speaking about forums besides DP you can also visit other forums if you wanna learn or do biz like Namepros and DNF. I am now eating popcorns while reading this funny squabble between OFGOOGLE and worldman. Come and share my junk foods while reading it here. To be honest I was actually on the prowl for any new scammers on the loose but found this thread instead. They really need to sort out their priorities.  Though I would like to mention when DomainSubway said “I just noticed WorldMan has 1709 posts, about 1300 more than you ofgoogle. Do you really think a scammer would have posted 1700 times before scamming someone? Please don’t answer that…wow!!!” I was a bit surprised.

Some scammers are known to build up their profile to more than 5K posts before starting to scam people so I totally disagree with what he said. That makes no sense.

All in all there are like 3 more pages to go, so you have read it by yourself.   Another thread though about Jackie Chan being dead here and some guy@girl being serius about DP here. This is the same case as the scammer abhishek who is a rep beyond rep. So some -ve rep won’t be any use.Lol..

True among all the popular forums DP is probably the most dull,boring, I wanna sleep theme but truth said that probably makes it a bit special. Sites like DP and Sitepoint has a plain template but you can’t say that its a bad thing. Its because DP is probably the easiest forum for you t browse. What do you think?

A lot of threads about how long and why members are banned are getting created.

Most of the time you can catch sawz in these threads giving his 2 cents. Ignore the amount of iTrader, rep and posts he has. “Senior members” often give wrong information and he is no exception.

When people ask how long a member is banned for, sawz‘ usual answer is, “If there are no scales in the member’s posts, he’s permanently banned.” Wrong.

There are no scales in any of my posts(I’m banned) yet I am not permanently banned. In fact, most, if not all, of the banned members don’t have scales in their posts.

So, whether scales are present in posts or not, that does not determine the amount of time a member is banned.

This is by far one of the best threads created on DigitalPoint.

It drew the attention of more than 30 users at a time and generated 9 pages(so far).

Unfortunately for brandnewx,  Shawn has no interest in selling it yet.

That’s too bad. A new owner probably would have done the site some good.
