Got banned from dp
Got banned from DP or what? If you are here reading this post – then surely you might be one of those who might have got banned and trying to find an alternative for DP. Or you might be just looking around what others are saying after they have been banned. Or you might be planning to join those who have left DP after getting banned. If none of the above situations match – then you might be trying to get some information regarding how to avoid DP bans in the future and how to remove the ban that you have got already or at least the period of the ban to some 1-2 weeks if its for more than a month. Yup, sometimes the mods ban people for more than a month. I have heard people saying that they had been banned for about 8 months or so in the past for doing something stupid unknowingly.
Are the mods who are to be blamed?
I don’t think that it is only the mods who should be blamed. Mods won’t ban anyone without reasons. It should be the responsibility of the members to read the rules of the forum – and stick to it while posting there at DP. Even after a lot of crazy bans from the mods, people are still making the same mistakes. I won’t blame the mods – and I have reasons to support it – I have seen threads which are posted by members that are against the rules – like- some are asking to pm them in threads (which is not allowed in DP) – but still, not all of them are banned. I think mods are giving chances to members before they are banned. We should here what the mods have to say as well – actually they are not bothered about these things – and won’t blame them again – they would be having lots of things to do – DP is a huge forum and controlling it is not a kids game! Members throw frustrtations over the mods after they are being banned – who knows these people might have been banned after giving lots of chances! But they won’t tell about those things while complaining about the mods. At the end of the day, if you are looking to make some good reputation there at DP and trying to stay active there in the community, then follow the DP rules – otherwise get ready to get banned!!!

I was banned from DP and will come back on 3rd of July. They told me I was banned for infraction, but didn’t mentioned any more details about the so-called infraction I did. Why I blame them is that they don’t reply to their emails. Of course, You will say that they have too many people to take care of, and then don’t have time to reply. But how can you explain that they replied to a friend of mine on my thread asking why I got banned and didn’t reply to me?
Well, I don’t claim I didn’t do things against the rules cause I got banned for a good reasons maybe. I just wanted to know what did I do so that I won’t get banned anymore. I am wondering if my reputation on DP will decrease as my account was banned! They should at least warn you by message before banning you suddently without warning you… Well that’s just my opinion and you certainly don’t agree with mine.

Better you contact your friends at DP and make them to contact the mods – so that they’ll be explaining the mods what really happened with you – and if you are innocent, then you’ll be getting your account back.
Don’t ask, I’ve been trying this since last one month. They just don’t respond. I don’t know what to do. I am loosing business everyday. Is there any other way out?
It’s alright saying stick to the rules, but don’t even understand half of the rules, or the reasons why I’ve been banned! It’s all techy jargon which newbies don’t necessarily understand!
You should all go to BusinessAdviceForum.com it’s better than DP concerning moderation.
I am the latest kid to be banned. i never really intended to.
I got banned because I mentioned another digital forum in a discussion. I even did NOT invite anyone to visit thatb forum ==> banned for 8 months !!!

I am also got banned because my acccount was hacked and ihave contacted from the site but no reply so ive made an account and posted in the forum that my account was hacked and the moderator closed both accounts.however later my ban was removed i think it is a month.before using my account i contacted a moderator and she told that use this account as shawn is busy and he will only looks for the accounts.While i was using this acccount for 3 days and it is banned by other moderator LOL.
I think i have proof in my private message box but dont know still it exists or not.
This moderators are just like police under the playground but not outside of the playground.
